for anyone in portage county (this does not mean many of you right now – but one day that will change) october 27th is “make a difference day” and the united way of portage county is looking for 500 people to rake the yards of the disabled and the elderly. my family and i are going to be a part of it and you can too. all you have to do is go here and then bring your rake.
Elderly? I get senior citizen discounts, and i am on a fixed income………….please rake my yard………Well, cut my grass first.
Dad
sorry dad. i think your only shot of getting your yard raked is through your mental disability. 🙂
my mom always had us raking our elderly neighbor’s yards and shoveling their snow. I’ts funny how you grow up and miss that! Well, I guess I should say how I got old and miss it–never really grew up!!!
Tis far better to grow old than it is to grow
