  1. You’ve got me curious. I clicked on the link and evidently Google read the cookies on my machine and spit out a google docs in portuguese. I’ve been using open office, and until I have someone to collaborate with (getting some ideas as I type), I’ll probably stick with it for most of my stuff.

  2. stephen, i wouldn’t put google documents over open office or ms office (yet). it’s doesn’t have the easy formating of those programs. yet, if i’m doing something on the web that i want others to be able to see and collaborate on then it’s great.

  3. My wife’s company does. We’ve been searching for cheap autocad alternatives, as we can’t afford nor do we need the latest and greatest $5000 AutoCAD program. Something for about 1% that price would be better.

It does have a good sound to it, though, doesn’t it?

Say, do you use google calendar?

  4. Right now I am trying to help our city church here Brazil have a half-decent web presence while spending nothing. I made a little blogspot blog for the church website and then stopped when I went deaf. Now I kind of want to get back into it. We need to eventually get a calendar online as well. It’s just an experiment, but if it works out I’ll be able to help 12 or so churches get a site up and train someone in the basic site maintenance.

  5. Hey Robert,

I’m a Program Manager working with Google Docs, and I’d love to chat more with you about the way you make use of Docs.

If you’re interested, drop me an email at the address I listed with this comment.

    Thanks!
    Meredith
