  • I was supposed to be able to fish during my free time at the camp I am speaking at. Unfortunately 54 degree windy weather has canceled that. #
  • @joshross – i liked it – mainly stuff from his sermons. in reply to Joshross #
  • @dannygilliam – no i prefer 54 degrees – it's just that last year at youth camp we had 80's and it was amazing. in reply to dannygilliam #
  • i have mixed feelings – turns out i was "defriended" on facebook by someone that i was leaning toward "defriending" myself. i feel unloved. #

the one thing

the danish philosopher sören kierkegaard stated that purity of heart is to will one thing. i believe the above perch, that i caught while preaching at the blba youth camp, was pretty pure in its desire to eat. it is my belief that you have to be a pretty focused fish to attack a lure that is 90% of your own body mass.

just so you know that i can actually catch bigger fish i’ll post this photo of another fish that i caught at lake bird. this one is an 18” largemouth.
