one of my favorite sayings regarding parenting is that it’s like being pecked to death by ducks. it makes me laugh every time i think about it. owning two basset hounds is one step worse than this. owning basset hounds is like being pecked to death by ducks who try to make you feel guilty the entire time they are killing you.
Sounds like a good “story” in there somewhere.
