this is just me thinking out loud and so nothing will probably come of it.

in order to keep things fresh i need to be exposed to new ideas at least annually. for me in the past this has meant conferences. therefore, i’m looking into a conference for next year. the one that i find intriguing right now is q 2009. i heard it mentioned today during an advent conspiracy podcast and i thought it sounded very interesting. then i went to the website and my interested was piqued even more. it’s a conference that is designed with conversation and participation at its core. 18 minute presentations are made by some experts in the presentation’s area and then the group responds. it could be a great thing.

so i was wondering if anyone else might be going or at least interested in going to this thing. a little company would be fun.

just wanted to give a blog shout out to ben sheets. ben and good shepherd lutheran church gave me a snow blower today. woohoo! the blower was sitting in the shed and they had no use for it so ben apparently thought “why not put this thing to use by giving it to someone else” and i was the recipient. i like thoughts like that.
