you have to check out this link. it is the coolest radio ever. it has no buttons. you turn it on and off by pushing it up or down, you change the volume by moving it side to side, and you change the frequency by moving it from left to right.

hello there guys & girls, i hope that you have a wonderfully restful holiday this weekend, end the year right, and begin the new year in an enjoyable and safe manner. personally i’m not exactly sure what i’ll be doing tonight. we’ve been invited by the austins to blow up the equivalent of a small tactical nuclear warhead in fireworks but i have a wife and child who seem to be getting a cold so i’m not sure if the explosions will come to pass or not.
what i do know is what i will be doing today and tomorrow with my kids – i’m going to build a “potato cannon”. my sister-in-law gave me a book called “backyard ballistics” that is all about the fun little experiments i used to do as a child. while i was reading it i realized that my boys have never known the joy of a “spud gun“. that can simply not be allowed. so last night i went and bought the necessary material for building a basic one. we will build the beast today, then let the pvc cement dry overnight, and finally shoot the puppy off tomorrow.
just in case you are wondering “potato cannons” are completely legal. here’s a letter from the atf . so i’m going to go shoot some spuds.

- when discovered alive and well and living in a beach house in nice, france, yasser arafat will confess that he faked his death because “living in palestine sucks.”

set up for the view – december 29, 2004
here are photos from the set-up of the view, december 29, 2004. this was our samson service. the back of the room was set up as a place to confess our failures to GOD (each corner of the room was a station that had cards and pens. the back center of the room was set up with two columns and a paper shredder. the columns were there to remind us of GOD using samson in the end inspite of his past failures. the paper shredder was a contemporary way of “erasing” the past. the sounds of the shredder were intermingled with our singing. each grind bore testimony to someone who had gotten rid of their guilt.

the asian tsunami – virtual prayer room
messy CHRISTian has set up a virtual prayer room on his blog. don’t be surprised if someone you know has been effected by the catastrophe. as followers of CHRIST we have to be involved in lifting up our brothers and sisters in prayer. remember scripture says when one part of the body of CHRIST hurts then all of the body should hurt. take care of your asian brothers and sisters by spending some time lifting them up to the FATHER.
